The Langtang Valley Trek, also known as the “Valley of Glaciers” trek, is one of Nepal’s most popular trekking destinations. Situated in the northern region of Kathmandu, the trek presents a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural diversity.
This moderate trek navigates through lush forests, ethnic Tamang villages, and offers stunning mountain vistas. Along the trail, you will come across several Buddhist monasteries, chortens, and prayer wheels that offer insights into Tibetan Buddhist culture. The trek starts from Syabrubesi, a small village located at an altitude of 1,462m, and reaches its highest point at Kyanjin Gompa, standing tall at 3,870m.
