Day 1 – Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut: Begin your ascent through dense rainforests, home to diverse wildlife, leading to the Mandara Hut.
Day 2 – Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut: Trek through moorlands, offering breathtaking views of Mawenzi and Kibo peaks.
Day 3 – Horombo Hut: Spend the day acclimatizing, with optional short treks around the hut to enjoy the stunning landscape.
Day 4 – Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut: Ascend through the desolate lunar landscape of the Saddle, between Mawenzi and Kibo.
Day 5 – Kibo Hut to Uhuru Peak and back to Horombo Hut: Embark on a night trek to the summit, reaching Uhuru Peak for a spectacular sunrise. Then, descend to Horombo Hut for the night.
Day 6 – Horombo Hut to Marangu Gate: Complete your descent through the rainforest to Marangu Gate.
Day 7 – Rest or Departure: A day for rest or preparation for departure.
